Rory Sutherland: Life lessons from an ad man.

“Advertising adds value to a product by changing our perception, rather than the product itself. Rory Sutherland makes the daring assertion that a change in perceived value can be just as satisfying as what we consider “real” value — and his conclusion has interesting consequences for how we look at life.” (via Rory Sutherland: Life lessons from an ad man | Video on TED.com)

A funny TED talk in the blending world of advertising and entertainment.

The #TwinglyChannellenge - @cityrat59 vs @sliceonline Twingly Channels Charity 2.0 vs Sustainability Entrepreneurship #twinglychannels

Anders Sporring and me decided through a thread-phone-call (POTS - Plain Old Telephone Service!) that we should challenge each other who-gets-first-to-50-followers for our respective channels (see below!). The winner gets 120 minutes of UNDIVIDED ATTENTION for their defined “problem”. FAR BEYOND consulting, my friends! Anders will define the problem when he gets first ;). I wanted 120 minutes to get feedback on my Kickstarter Campaign Page when launched! More l8r!

Twitter for Social Entrepreneurship: The Top 100 Tweeps to Follow — Social Edge

Time this weekend to start to gather the sources for the Twingly Sustainability Entrepreneurship (‘sustainopreneurship’) channel. Here is a great start! Who of these macroblogs, who of these focuses to set up a business to solve the problems departing from a sustainability innovation?

/…/The official aid world of MDG Plans and Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers does not have a clue about the entrepreneurship needed to solve problems. Official aid doesn’t know how to operate in a world where most Problems are solved by entrepreneurs who originally intended to solve a DIFFERENT Problem. So it’s up to you private and social entrepreneurs.

From NYU Blog Aid Watch (@aidwatch): Why the Millennium Development Goals will not be reached - unless you calculate and invite the entrepreneur for sustainability.

Set a Big Goal. Give All to Meet It. This is Stupid. (Aid Watch)
